ARKANCE partners with Utopia Digital to help customers connect project data across the full delivery lifecycle.

New partnership brings CDE Sync to ARKANCE customers across Australia and New Zealand, helping construction, infrastructure and engineering teams connect fragmented project information across multiple digital platforms.

Brisbane, Australia, 2 June 2026. ARKANCE has announced a new partnership with Utopia Digital to bring CDE Sync to customers across Australia and New Zealand, giving project teams a practical way to connect the data scattered across the platforms they rely on.

CDE Sync is a no-code, cloud-based integration platform that automates file and metadata synchronisation across leading Common Data Environments (CDEs), including Autodesk Forma, Bentley ProjectWise, Microsoft SharePoint, Asite, InEight, Oracle Aconex, Procore, and 12d Synergy. Built on Microsoft Azure and independently certified to SOC 2 Type II, it streams data between platforms, preserving version control and metadata while meeting the data sovereignty requirements of global customers.

The problem it solves sits at the heart of almost every project delivered today. Construction projects no longer run on a single platform. A typical project spans several Common Data Environments at once, each chosen by a different contractor, designer, or client, and each with its own metadata structure, versioning logic, and workflows. None of them talk to each other.

Currently people are the manual integration layer. To get the right information to the right people at the right time, teams move files between systems by hand: downloading, renaming, reformatting metadata, re-uploading, and revalidating, then repeating the whole cycle for next week’s coordination meeting or for the next submission handover.

That coordination is not a minor overhead. On a single project it can consume weeks to months of skilled labour time and runs from hundreds of thousands into the low millions of dollars in lost productivity and avoidable rework. For an organisation delivering a portfolio of projects, that cost repeats on every program, every year. This is a core problem in the industry today.

CDE Sync addresses it by automating the flow of information between platforms. Files stream between connected systems, metadata is mapped between different schemas, and every sync is captured through audit logs and dashboards. Domain-specific logic, including ISO 19650 metadata validation and platform workflow mapping, is built into the core of the platform.

Project delivery is no longer happening in one platform. Our customers are managing fragmented systems, growing data volumes and increasing pressure to deliver more with less. CDE Sync helps us address that reality by connecting project information across the environments they already use.

— Grant Bryce, Managing Director, ARKANCE ANZ.

"CDE Sync was built by people who have lived the problem: engineers and project delivery professionals who know first-hand the time and cost it takes to keep project data in sync across multiple Common Data Environments. ARKANCE shares that practitioner mindset, which makes this a natural partnership,"

— Aaron Traylen, Co-Founder, Utopia Digital.

The partnership forms part of ARKANCE's broader commitment to building complete digital delivery solutions, combining professional services, implementation expertise, connected data workflows and intelligent tools that help teams get more value from their BIM and project information.

Through ARKANCE professional services, customers can assess existing CDE workflows, identify data gaps, improve metadata structures, align project information with ISO 19650 requirements and design more connected delivery environments. CDE Sync provides the integration layer that keeps data flowing between them.

For customers, the value is practical: less time and cost lost moving files between systems, lower risk of teams working from outdated information, stronger metadata consistency, improved auditability and greater confidence in project information.
